Corporate Trainer- Entry-level

Job Summary: Seeking an entry level Training Specialist to train customers on products and services and answer preliminary questions that arise during the pre and post sales process.  Assist the sales organization with pre and post implementation support for hardware, software and specialty products. Assist sales representatives and administrative departments throughout the entire MPS process.

Essential Functions:


  • Perform training post-sales for diverse and evolving customer base
  • Provide pre-sales support for sales representatives not limited to: recommended configuration, client demonstrations, implementation meetings, etc..
  • Post sale technical support for troubleshooting hardware and software connections
  • Explain features and capabilities of equipment models
  • Set up preliminary settings, including printing, faxing, copying and security options
  • Direct client support with documents template creation and editing
  • Monitor, evaluate and record training activities
  • Teach employees and customers how to utilize hardware and software products most efficiently
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors or customer representatives
  • Assist in developing training manuals, guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials
  • Present information, using a variety of different techniques and formats such as demonstrations, manuals and handouts
  • Plan and organize training sessions based on schedule of delivery and availability of customer
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of products through company and vendor training and market research
  • Keep abreast of our vendors current and future product offerings to maximize impact within the organization


  • Responsible for coordinating and scheduling 1st and 2nd round of Quick View with both customers and sales representatives
  • Perform both rounds of walk-throughs, as well as scanning customer networks, for any and all printing devices that are to be evaluated in the analysis process.
  • Configure cost analysis spreadsheet for sales representatives using all printing device information collected during 1st and 2nd rounds, as well as any invoice information provided within 48 hours of completion of the 2nd round reading.
  • Assisting in the compilation of spreadsheets from information obtained by sales representatives on smaller MPS assessments
  • Providing industry standard toner and maintenance kit pricing and/or analyzing invoices from customers upon request


Required Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service; includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures
  • Ability to work independently and provide organization and professionalism to workplace
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 
  • Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to try new approaches
