Digital Print & Imaging Operations Manager

Purpose

As a DPI; Ops Manager, you will be collaborative and inclusive part in helping our clients meet their print and imaging needs while being part of a fun, team-oriented culture. You’ll produce and finish large copy, print, litigation and scanning orders coming into our print facility using high volume digital print equipment. Accountable for daily operations of Print & Imaging team, production and logistics. Responsible for assessing talent, enforcing quality standards and creating procedural operations. Manages production expenses, client expectations and upholding Ubeo standards.

Responsibilities

  • Clearly communicates job expectations/consequences of direct reports by training, cross training, coaching, counseling, directing, evaluating the work of subordinates to increase their work output and work quality.
  • Oversee the quality process of all jobs before, during and postproduction
  • Create and follow production workflow using high volume digital print/scanning equipment
  • Identify gaps/scope creep in service delivery and adjust process documentation to work within the client or Ubeo framework while ensuring financial responsibilities are met
  • Communicate with sales, leadership, vendors regularly to meet customer deadlines
  • Meet or exceed revenue and gross profit expectations
  • Work with manager to improve productivity, processes, staffing, and any performance issues
  • Motivates employees and recognizes their accomplishments in a timely manner leveraging the Ubeo Core Values
  • Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned; may be client facing on sales calls

Job Related Dimensions

  • Digital print sales and process management experience preferred

Qualifications

  •  5+ years of experience in a Digital Copy/Print/Scan environment
  • 2+ of years leading a team
  • Attention to detail and exceptional organization skills
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, projects
  • Ability to read & interpret instructions, identify problems/missing information and address them proactively
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite, Publisher.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Ability to sit at desk for prolonged periods of time. 
  • Ability to talk on the phone and work with various computer tools and applications.
  • Ability to type and compose written communication in various forms.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle for travel to client sites.
  • Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods at times.
  • Ability to lift 20+lbs on occasion.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation.
  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required.
