Provide pre–sales support to the Centric Business Systems sales staff to sell document management and software solutions.  The Solutions Consultant is responsible for analyzing business requirements and technology needs of our customers, designing customized solutions and implementing hardware/software application’s to improve document management, document security and print management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sales teams on training, development and execution of software sales
  • Analyze customer’s business processes and facilitate the implementation of software-based solutions or integration of hardware with existing software applications
  • Offer solutions for security, cost accounting and other forms of print/doc management
  • Develop and present pre-sales solutions and strategies for connected products, analysis of customer business goals and existing or new infrastructure; identifies additional product opportunities in customer organization as needed, on a case-by-case basis
  • Create and deliver professional sales presentations and product demonstrations to existing and potential customers
  • Present solutions to scan, manage, index, archive, retrieve, and print documents in a more secure, economical and productive manner
  • Create scope of work, proposals and cost justifications
  • Interface with customers’ information technology personnel to scope out and define business solutions
  • Perform software systems analysis by translating customer specific connectivity needs to software development requirement
  • Design and implement document management solutions
  • Serve as a liaison with software development organizations to provide customized software applications
  • Responsible for spearheading the launch of new products and services, hardware, solution and enabler offerings, focusing on market differentiators and applications selling
  • Provide training on application/networking capability of customized business solutions to field service staff, sales and customers (end users) as needed
  • Provide comprehensive technical and sales support on advanced technologies in the network environment
  • May be responsible for generation of external technical consulting services billable to customer separate from the pre-sales support efforts
  • Other duties assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (MIS), or related field
  • 2 to 5 years of directly related technical support experience preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of sales or sales support experience
  • A+, Net+, CNE, MCSE, CDIA certifications preferred
  • Must have excellent public speaking skills and professional presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate business systems processes and requirements
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into technology solutions
  • Ability to analyze client network and current document workflow and provide recommended  solutions to improve productivity, security and effectiveness
  • Ability to analyze business processes and technology requirements
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical employees and customers
  • Technical knowledge of all company products, applications, programs and related connectivity capability
  • Ability to travel to all Centric locations to support Sales staff
